Information Management and Systems Coordinator, Syria Response

Location: Middle East

The starting salary package for this position is £40,500 GBP per annum (approx. $54,000 USD) including all allowances

About the Syria Programme:

MAG has been responding to the Syria crisis since 2013 working to support the development from conflict by finding and destroying the explosive remnants of war, so that communities can raise their families and pursue their livelihoods in a safe and secure environment, free from fear of death or injury.

About the role:

Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager (TOM), the Information Management and Systems Coordinator will provide support to, and capacity build, a team of national staff to ensure that Information Management services are delivered in an accurate and timely manner to all internal and external stakeholders. Working in a dynamic team of national and international staff, the position will support the continued development of the Information Management system, as well as establishing and maintaining related policies and procedures.

About you:

The successful candidate will need experience in effectively collecting, analysing and reporting operational data, alongside developing information systems. You will have advanced skills and knowledge in IM systems and GIS applications with the ability to train and develop the skills or others. Ideally, you will have experience working overseas in the international aid or development sector, in a conflict / post conflict environment, and be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
